Tree and Timber Appraisals

Trees have immeasurable spiritual and emotional value to individuals and cultures across the world. They can also be viewed and measured as a commodity with concrete monetary values.

Differences between valuation methods tend to depend on the location of trees.

Forested areas are typically appraised according to the available market for standing timber, whereas landscape trees may be appraised using formulae that take into account the costs of replacement (such as the Council of Tree and Landscape Appraisers Cost Approach or Trunk Formula).

We are able to assist you with ascribing monetary values to your trees using accepted methodologies. We also have experience in appraising trees that have already been cut in cases of trespass or by-law violation.
